COLORFUL, CHEERFUL
At Bondoró Festival every moment has its unique experience that puts a smile on your face. A street music band arrives from the right, while a cheerful stiltwalkers arrive from the left. Suddenly you hear the first chords of a concert just starting in a garden and while walking there you see beautiful Hungarian handcrafts and exciting gastronomic selections. When the sun goes down in the Lake Balaton northern shores the place of the festival is filled with a cavalcade of light paintings.
UNFORGETTABLE AND INCREDIBLE
Anything can happen on Bondoró. Human conversations on the banks of the river, night-time self-forgotten fun in the music gardens or never- seen, immersive circus attractions. Everything here is unique and unrepeatable. Our artists do their best to impress our audience by giving their full heart and personality in all their shows.
MANY GENRES
The Bondoró Festival debuted in 2019 as the country’s only dedicated street theatre festival. Bondoró’s aim is to present street theatre genres to the general public in a niche. Year after year, special attractions, stilt walkers and artists, strolling spectacles, pantomimes and fire theatre performances are on offer. Street theatre comedians and circus acts, spectacular light parades, puppets and puppets, concerts, exhibitions, mardi gras bands and street parades entertain the audience.
INTERNATIONAL STREET THEATRE
We have been working since 2019 to be able to add international street theater productions to our repertoire. Our goal is to further strengthen this line and, as an International Street Theater Festival show the well-respected European-style street theater, circus and new circus shows to the Hungarian, culture-loving families. These interntaional street shows have not yet had the opportunity to be admired here in Hungary. We wish that Bondoró can become a European center of the international street art scene in Hungary.
