Aranyakkord

The Aranyakkord formation was formed by Tibi Kiss (Quimby) and Gábor Vastag (A Kutya Vacsorája) on a foggy January day in 2018, completely unconsciously. They sat next to each other with guitars in their hands and realised they had formed. The Aranyakkord is an experimental workshop, a songwriting workshop, a play with music and lyrics. A unique psychedelic-acoustic atmosphere, a rock’n’roll reservation, a necromancy, a soundscape as much a street-dusty romance as ethereal jingles. The two good friends and colleagues have been writing songs together for film scores and other projects for 10 years, Vasti has also produced several Quimby albums, but only recently have they fully connected on the rehearsal room couch. Andor Gábor “UFO” has joined the duo as a regular guest, adding his magical percussion to the production. Their concerts also evoke this ambient music atmosphere, where the audience can get closer to the roots of the songs.
In addition to their own songs, there is also space for improvisations of the moment, other songs from their oeuvre and covers of their favourites. The Aranyakkord has toured Europe and overseas several times during its existence.
