Béla Ágoston has been blowing hose pipes since 1986.
Over the past 36 years, his ideas about Hungarian bagpipes as bagpipers and composers include ZUBOLY, MAGUSTONES, VÍZÖNTŐ, VASMALOM, HEGEDŐS, FRASS LONDON-led GLASS HOUSE ORCHESTRA, ETNOFON MUSIC ASSOCIATION, DÉLI FORMATION, ÁGOSTON TRIO AND GUESTS, PIPATORIUM, TÓCSNI AND FLÓDNI, VERSI VARSA, SZENT ISTVÁN SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, VÁCI SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA and HUNGARIAN DUDA ORCHESTRA.

The adaptations heard here don’t just hide the bagpipe music in other “skin”.
At the request of Béla Ágoston, Dóra Fekete, Angéla Thiesz, Krisztina Makrai, Gábor Boka, Zsolt Vetlényi and Attila Balaskó dressed their own bagpipes with their favorite materials as a famous characters.
“The Scottish bagpipe has become known for it’s plaid dress – the Hungarian bagpipe is bare (or hairy). Other nations are wrapping the bagpipe’s hose as well. The idea: to create a new genre in cooperation,” says Béla Ágoston, the idea owner.

So the collaboration that can be created after composing the music is more than a fashion show and other than a concert, we could say: THE SOUNDS OF AN EXHIBITION.
