Strings stretch and smiles arise while each marionette, hand-carved and inspired by members of my family, create a different atmosphere and different photography. Family relationships resolve and extricate, string by string, during a symbolic and entertaining story, a daring journey from former war-time Yugoslavia to Italy. A pawing and fiery Skeleton, a sweet and ravenous Tiger, a mysterious Oriental Bellydancer and much more.

Rašid Nikolić tours with his show “The Gipsy Marionettist” since 2012, also his artistic alias, which helps him meet the bohemien and romantic image often associated to his people, giving him an opportunity to relate to the audience and share what Roma culture truly is, without stereotypes or generalizations.

🥁 The sixth Bondoro is coming this year with great new attractions and a more colourful programme than ever before. 🤩 A variety of international street theatre attractions 🤹, big concerts and last but not least an unrivalled venue awaits those who visit the event in 2024, right on the shores of Lake Balaton. 🌊 In addition to a host of Hungarian performers, artists from all over the world will be joining us this year to dazzle the audience!
